Marina/Esther – against the withdrawals IV

rishi06_together_41

What, you thought Marina/Esther would simply die down after a month? – We’re only just getting started…

If you’re still able to form a coherent thought after seeing the above graphic, you could follow the link to rishi06’s deviantart TdU gallery and check out this graphic in bigger and better and her other artwork and funny cartoons, too – many of the latter are already available in English, as well.

New videos this week proclaim that slide shows are the new black – like this piece by autodidatta:

Also, bette1985 offers two humorous slide show accounts, aided by ABBA and with captions included – get ready to line up for the elevator here:

The other clip – set to “Mamma mia!” – can be found here.

Good news on the international front: flondrulez’ spoof videos are now available in Chinese, uploaded by jessfang, with “Don’t mess with Moige” here and “Love today” here. “Love Today” is also available in English:

In the photo section this week, we’re starting off into weekend with a nice set of Elisabetta Rocchetti photos, thanks to the Italian board. The red dress award of this week goes to Antonella Fattori (and next week, I want Giulia!).  And for the Barela addicts, it is once more the Italian forum that offers you your weekly fix: here. (Smokin’ ring a bell?)

…still found no real reason to finally pick up Italian? (“Aida” is another good one. Only that the vocabulary you acquire may be a bit outdated in some aspects. Or so I’ve heard.) The Italian board continues to be the front runner for Marina/Esther fan fiction, so far, fifteen stories (exclusively Italian) are vying for your attention. – Still nothing English out there, although I am already working on the storyboard to the tale I promised. Still, there might pop up some more international tales before that… I hope.

…this just in: new rishi06 Marina/Esther cartoon in English. My new favorite!

Withdrawals IV – “4 weeks already?” – Screencap edition

(as always: all images click to enlarge. edición en castellano, gracias a Sam, aquí)

Malosti: “…Where is everybody going?”

Santamaria & Palumbo: “Ah, you know… we’ve been off the air for a month now, so we decided to do a protest sit-in together tonight. Gossip and beer free for all.”

Gandini: “Ah, that sit-in. Yes. And on a completely unrelated note, I left boy toy in some DJ halfpipe today… so… are you doing anything tonight?”

Malosti: “Me? I’m at the sit-in, of course. You can’t beat free beer!”

Terry Teresa (reading): “…and I can’t wait to be alone with you in the doctor’s lounge later, nobody will notice if we are leaving that sit-in a little earlier, I cannot concentrale on anything when I sit next to you anyway… or at any other time… four weeks since that kiss in the elevator… -  KISS IN THE ELEVATOR?  Doctor’s Lounge later…? … Esther?!”

Esther: (Note to self: never again read email with Teresa around!) “Uh… nothing. *cough* hasgottobeajoke… me, elevators… uh, never…”

Terry Teresa: “You are so busted! I’ll tail you all night long. It’s been four weeks without new gossip!!” (looks back at the screen) “PS. don’t bother to iron your scrubs – I doubt the floor will care. – Wow.”

Marina: “Hey… so can we sneak out of the sit-in and, uh …talk… somewhere else?”

Esther: “If you want to be the talk of town… I have Teresa hot on my heels. She read your email.”

Marina: “Damn… does that mean… we can’t…?”

Esther: “Look, if you find a way to get Teresa distracted, or out of the hospital, fine. But otherwise, no fooling around today! Unless you want Teresa asking you out all the time and calling you McSteamy. Or McDreamy. Or both…”

Marina: “Oh damn. And just today, when I had brought along the handcuffs… and a bottle of Veuve Cliquot…”

Teresa: “What’s eating you, Dr. Ranieri? You look so…frustrated. Well, if my husband falls asleep on me, why should anyone else fare better. – Na-na-na-na-na-na-naah…”

Sergio: “So, I hear there is that sit-in we are going to…”

Giulia: “Mhmm…”

Sergio: “I’ll pull rank and get us seats in the last row. We could hold hands and play Battleships…”

Giiulia: “It is a sit-in. As in on the floor.”

Sergio: “…can we still hold hands? – Hmm, on the floor, that reminds me… damn, four weeks is a long time!”

Marina: “Mhm. Yes. Very interesting, Mr. Raimoigeratzi. Consideration. Of course. Now tell me again why I cannot sleep with my girlfriend? Sergio gets to do Giulia on the floor, and she is married to someone else! – Actually, why is it always the lesbian that has to listen to these boring morale speeches? Don’t you have anyone waiting for you at home in a negligé? – Hmm. Well. I guess you don’t.”

“..Oh, the things I could be doing instead right now! Mhmm, I could buy Esther a negligé the next time I pass by Armani’s downtown… simple… silk… black…”

“…or perhaps red… with thin straps, whisper-thin, the kind that will slide off her shoulders on their own… mhmm, Esther’s shoulders… and we could try that new Roman-style bathtub I had installed… after I take her to the theatre, of course. Took me forever to get those tickets… And then I’ll take her to a really nice dinner…”

“Excuse me, why do I have to listen to you again?!”

Gandini: “Look, “stand-in boy-toy”, that is not as weird as it sounds. Really, it will be fun, trust me…”

Gandini: “Arrgh….chocolate, I need chocolate! – oh, hello Giulia. What are you doing in a dark and empty OR? Hey, wait… did you know you are wearing your shirt inside out?”

Marina: “You. Me. Doctor’s lounge. Within the hour. – Or I am dragging you into the nearest elevator and jam the stop button!!!”

Esther: (speechless. And dizzy.)

Gandini: “Chocolate. – Chocolate, chocolate, CHOCOLATE! – There has to be some chocolate somewhere in this darn hospital!”

Malosti: “Uhm, the free beer? I mean, the sit-in?”

Giulia: “Yes, uhm…”

Malosti: “Hey, did you know you’re wearing your shirt inside out?”

Marina: “Okay, Teresa, you win. – Here you go, box seats for the Scala tonight, nevermind it took me forever to secure them. Take them, get your Alfredo into his best tux, and oh, here… get yourself a nice pair of Ferragamos on my account to go with your dress. You’ve got nice legs, after all.”

Terry Teresa: “Wha…?”

Marina: “Just pretend I like you for a minute, okay? All I want is you out of this hospital, eh, I mean: enjoying a nice evening, starting right now. Got it?”

Terry Teresa: “Well, if you put it that way… thanks!”

Marina: “Ohthankgod…”

Terry Teresa: “Uhm, Dr. Ranieri? Did you just compliment me on my legs?”

Marina: “Can we please discuss that in a later “Withdrawals” edition and not right now?”

Marina: “Hello, darling. Everything taken care of. I’m expecting you in the doctor’s lounge. Don’t let the champagne get warm…”

Esther: “Awww… she is so cute when is happy about something. Really, who needs champagne? Although… if we skip the glasses… mhmm..”

Terry Teresa: “Ah, the Ferragamo collection website… Knee-high and black? Or red stilettos? – Esther, what do you thin … Esther?! – Earth to Esther!”

Terry Teresa: “No, Sir. No sit-in tonight, Sir. Just a misunderstanding. Yes, Sir, my mistake, Sir. The sit-in is tomorrow – everyone can go home.”

Sergio: “Hmm… you know, if there is no sit-in…”

Giulia: “God yes, my thoughts exactly… mhmm…stop button…”

Meanwhile, elsewhere at the Morandini:

Gandini: “Better than chocolate!”

Malosti: “Better than free beer!”

…still meanwhile, doctor’s lounge:

Esther: “Here I am! – Everyone seems to be gone. The hospital is empty. Elevator 2 is stuck, though, and one of the 1st floor bathroom doors seems blocked… and… never mind… holy God… is that black silk?”

Marina: “Uhm, did I mention I have a negligé to go with that at home? – Also, I had the bathroom refitted… do you like Roman tubs, by chance…?”

…and then, the hospital was very, very empty.

Conclusion? Never underestimate the lesbian super power of the VELVET JACKET!

The End.
