Additional Note: RaiDue, only 4 episodes into the renewed airing of TdU, has changed the airing schedule and pushed the show from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. (seonda serata). That sucks for a variety of reasons, most of all because it puts the transcribing and translating two hours further into the night, so you will roughly have to wait two hours longer for the sneak preview from now on. Sorry about that. I just hope that neither BAM nor I will pass out over our keyboards during the remaining 6 weeks of new Marina/Esther goodness.
A note by BAM: the entire episode is based around a hazard case in the ER, which leads to them being isolated for five days. Marina and Esther have several scenes with patients in the hospital setting. The (brief) scenes just between them are the following.

[Marina and Esther in the cafeteria]
E: [walking up to Marina from behind] There was a patient that simply didn’t want to let me go.
M: Heyyy…
E: Heyyy… How was the concert last night?
M: Disappointing. But the place was very nice, I’d like to go back there with you.
E: Ah… I checked our shifts and Wednesday we’re both free.
M: Perfect! And your father, have you talked to him meanwhile?
E: Oh, no! I forswore passing the weekend with you to talk to him instead… and he thought it appropriate to spend the entire two days in the pub!
M: Esther… put yourself into his shoes. He was already seeing himself surrounded by grandchildren, to play and to entertain.
E: Listen… [in a very sweet tone] Will we spend the next weekend together?
M: [joking] Nooo….

[Marina and Esther in the operating theater after an intervention]
E: You know, today I talked my father, he is very worried. He said that won’t make it through five days of having to live without me.
M: Oh yes. Well… it’s better if he gets used to it. One day, I might ask you whether you would like to move in with me. ….Do you want to move in with me?
[Esther is speechless]

M: I’m still awaiting an answer on your part…
E: I know.
M: Listen, I know this will seem like simple rhetoric to you, and a little trite, but I want to wake up in the mornings with you at my side.
E: That’s not trite, and it’s not just rhetoric! It’s just that you need to give me a little time!
M: Yes, I know. …But I think that we have a problem… because I love you.
E: okay… done. – I love you, too!

These translations/descriptions/sneak previews are just an Italian finger exercise of mine and try to cover the core scenes of Marina and Esther, which means that there may be video footage in the clips on YouTube that is not covered here. Anik, thanks for fixing it. I realize how annoying that can be and had no idea YouTube does that.
As for the Literally Smokin’ Hot Marina, though I was a bit shocked (because not only is she a smoking pediatrician, she’s doing it in a hospital), I was also a bit relieved — it gives a human quality to her overall perfection …though it does put the health standards of Italian hospitals into question…
I was just wondering that they changed the time of the broadcast because there will be something on show which may not be suitable for minors…well in the eyes of the censors
@Nova: ah, if it only were for that reason! The sad reality might be that they pushed it back to the late evening because of low viewer rates and general lack of interest. Inexplicable, I know.

I’m confused was the show postponed and now it’s back or has it been truly canceled and these are just the remaining few episodes from the “vault” that were never aired?
@jazz: both is sort of true – the show has been CANCELED for good, but the airing of the remaining unaired episodes (a whole season of 18 episodes was shot prior to airing) was POSTPONED until now.

And, yes, 1×12 is short – when I first got the transcript I thought “what, just one page?”, but as they say, it’s quality, not quantity, and as far as the Marina/Esther dynamic is concerned, the writing continues to be spot on, even if there’s just three lines to capture a moment.
