White Shirt Monday: Back in the Hoodie

No, “Rienzi” isn’t the only opera that offers an Adriano that is a mezzo in pants (speaking of which, I do hope that the Wagner anniversary next year will give us various Adrianos – although I am not sure that this one can be outdone). The more, the merrier!

Also, I swear that I have danced at more than one lesbian club next to someone with that same outfit and that same haircut in the late 90s/early 2000s. And I can’t be the only one, can I?

[sorry about the bout of absence. Galley proofs, then 2nd set of galley proofs, then congress, then preparing an unexpected job interview (a Department looking for someone not just specialized in Pottery, but Assyrian one to boot!), now biting nails.]
