Who’s up for joining the dysfunctional family dinner? – Sara Mingardo (Disinganno), Sabine Devieilhe (Bellezza), Franco Fagioli (Piacere) and Michael Spyres (Tempo) are on the menu in Handel’s “Il trionfo del tempo e del disinganno”, as staged by Krzysztof Warlikowski. Yes, the run is already over, but since quite a few of us have been out of town and offline these past few weeks, we’re holding a liveblogging event for the Aix “Trionfo” with the videostream on demand, this upcoming Thursday, July 26th, at 9 p.m. UTC+2 (GMT+1 with Daylight Savings Time).

You’re invited to watch and comment along (bring a virtual louge chair, popcorn and your best fangirl squeal).

The videostream is available via culturebox (production information here). If you have any issues with geoblocking, leave a comment, and the White Shirt crowd will set you up accordingly.

    1. yes, lining up yours and Lang’s schedules will be pretty much impossible if Agathe and I enter into the mix – for one of us, it’ll always be the middle of the night. (but it’s also kind of great that we have White Shirts in so many timezones!)

      1. I am sorry, Lang. At some point, we will have to stage a liveblogging event based on Southeast Asian and American time demands, and the Europeans will have to sit it out or get up at 4 a.m. But I am sure we will come with thoughts to keep discussing well into your normal day rhythm!

        1. we can try the 4am-7am US time variety sometimes given i’m generally awake during this time, and it would allow “noon-ish” europe time and evening Asian. this might mean you might have to call sick from your job :p, or plan over a saturday or something… which might be more difficult…

          1. Extended lunch break at the office… That Night work, at least during class-free times. I’ll keep that in mind for the next Devieilhe event!

  1. Anik, no worries, I can see the difficulty coordinating a live event across the globe and keeping the sun up, it is impossile. We can work it out by keeping the thread.🙂
