The Twelve White Shirts of Christmas (10)

[Elīna Garanča, promotional material for “Revive”, DGG 2016]

On the eleventh Day of Christmas, the White Shirts sent to me:

One Latvian in Leather

.
.

And, yes, we are aware that Garanča is happily retiring her trouser roles these days – it may have been mentioned in an interiew or two -, but as long as her reboot into heavy 19th century cis-cast repertory is promoted with photo shoots like this one, including the jacket and swaggerific attitude, I think we can still claim some White Shirt relevance.

Also, we got

one Queer Remake of ‘Thornbirds’:

    1. and, as stated elsewhere: you’re the one with the close connection, so if there’s any help to be had, you’ll probably be the one administering in. Unless you’re passed out in front of that couch. Which might not be the worst prospect.

            1. Well, cheers to you!
and if there is one thing I am learning in white shirt company, it is that there is no shame in owning up to one’s types and handling them responsibly. 🙂

(by the way, apropos of nothing and everything, if you read a certain fic called the origin of the scar there is an intentional shout out to us. 😉 )
