Really good news in the small print – the Offenbach “Fantasio” from Théâtre du Châtelet is on stream-on-demand!

Here, the really good news in the enlarged small print:

So… technically we have until late August to organize a liveblog centered around Marianne Crébassa’s take on the title role, but I am guessing it’ll be the next available date after “Semiramide”? Yes please?

I’m out of town Mar. 4th, but I am already volunteering the Mar. 11th weekend.

    1. Running after ACA…!

If you want to join the Crébassa, we’ll postpone.
(I really need to draw up a schedule/wishlist for the liveblogs)

        1. Ok, then Agathe and I will progress as planned – the Offenbach (and Crébassa?) might more be an Anik-and-Agathe thing anyway?
But we could look at Orphée after that. i have been reading up on DVD ISO to mp4 conversion!

          1. or use ffmpeg! syntax:

            ffmpeg -i VTS_01_0.VOB -acodec copy -vcodec libx264 file01.mkv

Likely you’ll have 4 or 5 .VOB files, so you’ll have 4 to 5 .mkv as outputs. share them with me, and i’ll patch all together into a single file :-).

you can right click the dvd folder to “view its content”, inside it, you should see a list of files like this (scroll down to example):

            1. Oh, neat, I will try this in stead of Handbrake, then. Since I’ve already got it installed thanks to a kind Handelian…;-)
