It’s that time of the year again, it’s the European Opera Days!
In celebration, The Opera Platform offers an array of 10 productions as stream on demand, starting today and until May 14th.
On offer, among others: Monteverdi’s “Poppea” from Lille 2012, conducted by Haïm and with Hallenberg as Ottavia (the guys are cis-cast with Cencic as Nerone and Tim Mead as Ottone), Amel Brahim-Djelloul as Drusilla and Emiliano Gonzalez Toro as Arnalta.
There’s also the Iron Bar Set Vivaldi “Farnace” (Strasbourg 2012) again with Cencic, and with Nesi as the scheming mother-in-law, plus Donose, plus Genaux.
